The Bullpadel Neuron 02 2026 is born from the collaboration with Federico “Fede” Chingotto, and you can feel it from the first rallies: it is a model designed for those who want precision, tactical reading, and a lot of control. We felt it as a racket focused on placement rather than brute power, but it doesn’t fall short when it’s time to step up. Its approach fits very well with advanced players who want a versatile tool, reliable both at the back and at the net. If your idea of the game is to build the point rather than just hit for hitting’s sake, there is a lot of sense here.
The technical foundation of this Bullpadel is very well built: carbon frame, Xtend Carbon 3K faces, MultiEVA double-density core, and a teardrop shape with a medium balance that already marks its intention. From the first moments on the court, it gave us a medium-hard feel, with that quick feedback that is appreciated when you want to feel the ball well on slow shots, but with an extra burst of energy when we accelerate the arm. It is neither a soft racket nor one of those that does almost everything for you. Here, there is a sense of cleanliness at impact and a quite serious response.
The teardrop shape suits its character very well because the mass distribution feels balanced and quite consistent in almost any playing situation. We found it comfortable in that transition between organized defense and quick attack, something that doesn’t always happen in control models with this firm feel. The MultiEVA core helps the response change according to the intensity of the hit, translating into more control when blocking and more ball speed when accelerating. This duality is one of the things this version resolves best.
We also liked how it works in terms of comfort. The Ease Vibe and Vibradrive technologies absorb vibrations well and make the hitting feel cleaner, something we particularly appreciated when the pace picked up or when the session extended. Overall, the Neuron 02 2026 conveys a very clear idea: balance, precision, and a construction designed for competition.
From the back, the first thing we noticed is that marked medium-hard feel. It is not a racket particularly forgiving when we arrive poorly or hit off-center, so it demands quite an orderly technique and a well-executed shot. In return, it offers a very stable base for defending with criteria. If the player seeks to refine their execution, here they have a very serious companion.
The Prismlock system provides a stability that is noticeable on complicated returns, giving confidence when the opponent puts pressure on us. Additionally, the sweet spot is generous for this control-oriented approach, so even in situations with little time, we achieve stable shots with good direction. In slow exchanges, placement comes out very precisely, and when we put in a firmer swing, a sufficient ball speed appears to transition from defense to taking the initiative. This transition between the back and attack is one of its clearest virtues.
At the net is where this Bullpadel really comes alive. In quick exchanges, we found it agile, lively, and very easy to maneuver, something that has a lot to do with the Air Power technology. This speed makes responding near the net feel more natural and the short gesture works well. For the player who thrives on anticipation and touches many balls above, there is a lot of value here.
Volleys come out easily thanks to its good maneuverability, and we can also push deep without having to force the arm too much. In drop shots, it also moves smoothly, precisely because it changes direction quickly and positions well in front of the body. The overall feeling is one of reliability and speed of reaction, two things that weigh heavily in an intense match. It is not a clumsy racket nor does it require long preparations to be effective up top.
The rough texture 3D Grain adds quite a bit in this area of the court. In cut volleys and viboras, we notice an extra bite that helps shape the ball better and seek more uncomfortable trajectories. That additional grip also gives a boost when we want to change height or close the angle more without losing control. For a technical player, that integrated spin point at the net fits very well with the tactical approach of the Neuron 02 2026.
Its main focus is control, but at the smash, it responds better than it might seem conceptually. The carbon frame and the MultiEVA core leave a feeling of clean snap at impact, with enough output to seek winners and aggressive angles without losing too much direction. You don’t need to have a professional arm to extract useful power up top, although it is clear that those looking for maximum brute power will find more radical options.
In context, this is a racket much more oriented towards exact control than pure power, and it is well defined there. The MultiEVA core adapts the response according to the strength of the hit, so in defense, it maintains composure, and in attack, it adds that point of speed that a demanding player needs. We see it as a tool for those who want to play fast but without losing their head or the direction of the ball. The generous sweet spot rounds off that balance because it helps maintain precision even when the point accelerates.
The overall feeling is of a wide sweet spot that is quite useful in matches. It doesn’t turn bad impacts into perfect shots, but it does provide that extra stability that helps keep the ball controlled and well-placed when we play in a hurry or under pressure.
In terms of comfort, there are several details that work very well together. The Hesacore grip, with its hexagonal design, gave us a firmer hold and a very stable feeling of control in the hand, something that is particularly noticeable when quick reactions are needed. This is complemented by the agility provided by the teardrop shape and the Air Power technology, which makes the frame move smoothly. It is a fast racket in hand, but without losing that feeling of solid structure.
Where it convinced us the most was in long sessions. Ease Vibe and Vibradrive significantly reduce vibrations, which lowers the feeling of fatigue in the hand over time. We did perceive less accumulated tiredness, a small detail on paper but very valuable for those who play or train frequently. In that sense, the Neuron 02 2026 combines firm feel and real comfort quite well.
Its official retail price is €319.99, although at the time of writing this review, we found it for €243.19 in specialized stores. For materials, technologies, and approach, it falls between the advanced range and that premium territory oriented towards performance, so the investment makes sense if we seek precision, serious construction, and a very balanced performance. As is often the case in padel, over the months these models tend to drop in price, and when the next version approaches, it is common to find even better opportunities; that’s why last season’s rackets often provide a particularly strong quality/price ratio.
We recommend it to advanced players who prioritize precision, directional control, and tactical dominance of the point. It also fits very well with those who want a versatile and reliable racket both from the back and at the net, without giving up a high pace of play. If your absolute priority is maximum brute power, then this would not be our first choice for you.
The Bullpadel Neuron 02 2026 seems to us to be a well-thought-out racket for the player who wants to lead with their head and direction. It has Fede Chingotto’s stamp in the idea of play: tactical, precise, agile, and very reliable in high-paced moments. If that is your padel, it makes a lot of sense; if you are just looking for wild hitting, we would look elsewhere.
Our recommender helps you choose the racket that best suits you, your child, or your friend to give them the best gift.
