The Bullpadel Hack 04 Hybrid 2026 has struck us as a very serious paddle for advanced players, one of those that demands skill but then rewards you greatly on the court. It is part of the official collection of Paquito Navarro, which already places it in a context of high performance and demanding play. In this version, we find a very well-resolved balance between power, control, and versatility, with a medium-hard feel and a wide sweet spot that make it more complete. If we are looking for an option to compete, defend with purpose, and accelerate when needed, we believe it is one of the most interesting offerings in its segment.
Compared to last year’s version, the first thing we notice is the change in the faces with aluminized 18K carbon. On the court, it feels like a slightly more comfortable model, with a medium-hard feel that still has personality but is less harsh on impact. We also perceive that the ball stays a bit less on the plane and that the response comes out quicker, which is greatly appreciated when the exchanges pick up speed. This greater reactivity gives it an extra lively touch without breaking the overall balance of the paddle.
The balance of 25.7 cm is very well resolved, with a slight tendency towards the head that helps to hit the ball firmly without making it clumsy in hand. We found it manageable, firm, and stable, with a construction that conveys security when we strike under pressure. The combination of medium-hard feel, solid structure, and a wide sweet spot makes its performance quite complete. Compared to the previous Hack 04 Hybrid, we found it easier to generate power and also more pleasant in sensations, especially at fast rhythms.
From the back, it is a paddle that requires us to be engaged in the point and to properly accompany each shot. It is not one of those options that will send the ball flying on its own when you arrive under pressure, so it is advisable to enter firmly and extend the stroke to ensure depth in defense. Its medium-hard feel remains very true in this area of the court, translating into a fairly clean sense of control. If we have skill and technique, it responds; if we expect free help, it doesn’t work that way.
At low speed, we liked it because it allows for good management of lobs and wall shots, with quite precise direction and a clear sense of control. The wide sweet spot ensures that the shot does not fall apart easily, which gives confidence when we want to build the point from defense. When the pace accelerates, the paddle reveals an even more interesting side, as it produces a livelier ball exit without losing stability. Even on off-center hits, it maintains solid performance, which is noticeable when defending uncomfortable balls and having to block with little margin.
That said, it clearly shows the profile of the player it is aimed at. Less experienced players will notice that it demands defensive technique to take full advantage of what it has to offer, especially in situations where improvisation from the back is required. We see it as more rewarding in the hands of someone who knows how to temper, hold, and counterattack with intention than in a purely defensive profile. It is not a soft paddle nor particularly assistive, but it is a very good tool for those who know how to build the point from the back with purpose.
At the net, it moves really well thanks to that balanced weight with a slight inertia towards the head. Agility and acceleration come quickly in volleys, trays, and viboras, which is very noticeable when we play short exchanges or want to dominate with quick hands. The medium-hard feel helps the ball to come out with intention, but without losing that point of control that is appreciated in adjustment shots. We found it to be a very comfortable paddle for pressing up and maintaining the initiative.
In quick volleys, we achieved a ball that was tight, deep, and well-controlled, while in tray and vibora shots, it also left us with very good sensations when cutting the ball’s trajectory. That 3D texture on the surface adds an extra grip that is noticeable when we seek more spin and want the ball to come out more awkwardly for the opponent. We also liked it in attack-defense transitions, as it moves naturally and does not require extra effort to reposition. Up top, it is one of those paddles that invites aggression without losing too much precision.
When it comes to closing the point, this Bullpadel has more than enough arguments. The reinforced heart with Tricore technology, the carbon frame, and the MultiEVA core provide a very useful stiffness for delivering powerful smashes, and this version has seemed easier to activate in power than the previous one. The slightly longer grip also helps to generate leverage on aerial shots, which is noticeable when we seek to accelerate from above. The ball comes off the court with relative ease, without requiring perfect technique, and that is one of the improvements we have appreciated most in this edition.
What has convinced us most about this Hack 04 Hybrid 2026 is that it finds a real balance between power and control. This year, there is a zone on the surface where the ball exit activates more than in the previous version, making it easier to generate speed when we want to press. At the same time, the medium-hard feel maintains a fairly clear sense of control, especially on low-speed shots or when we need to place the ball. It is not an extreme paddle in one direction, but a versatile option that performs better the more demanding the pace of the match.
The sweet spot is wide and usable, which is quite valuable in a paddle of this profile. It has provided us with good stability and a convincing ball exit when the exchanges speed up, even on less than perfect contacts. Additionally, compared to last year’s version, we find it less harsh and more reactive, making the sweet spot more rewarding in real play.
In hand, it feels like a well-balanced paddle, and that balance of 25.7 cm greatly contributes to its manageability being one of its virtues. It has a slight tendency towards the head, yes, but it does not penalize excessively in defense or in fast net play. The grip with Hesacore in a hexagonal format has seemed like a clear success for comfort and grip, especially in long matches where hand and forearm fatigue begins to set in. This is complemented by the Vibradrive system, which absorbs vibrations on demanding impacts and makes the whole feel more pleasant than its firm feel might suggest.
Its price is around €319, so we are talking about a paddle clearly positioned in the professional/top range, although in terms of use it fits very well in the hands of demanding advanced players. At this price level, we expect materials such as aluminized 18K carbon, a carbon frame, a MultiEVA core, and technologies like Tricore, Hesacore, or Vibradrive, and this Bullpadel delivers them with consistent performance. It is a serious investment aimed at performance, not an impulsive purchase for anyone. As is often the case in this segment, it is common to see it drop in specialized stores over the months, and when the next version approaches, it can become an even more interesting purchase; in fact, last season’s models often offer the best quality/price ratio.
We recommend it to advanced players looking for a versatile paddle, capable of performing well in both defense and attack without sacrificing a medium-hard feel with character. It fits especially well for those who know how to manage quick transitions, take advantage of a wide sweet spot, and benefit from a more reactive response when the pace picks up. We also see it as very logical for those who want an official collection paddle from Paquito Navarro with a clearly competitive focus. If our game is very defensive or we need a lot of help from the back, there are probably more forgiving options.
The Bullpadel Hack 04 Hybrid 2026 seems to us to be a well-tuned paddle for those who play with intention in all areas of the court. It has more ease in generating power than before, maintains solid control, and moves very smoothly up top. It is not the most assistive from defense, but in the hands of a technical and aggressive player, it makes a lot of sense. If we are looking for a versatile, firm, and high-level Bullpadel, this is a very strong candidate.
