03. Review

The Adidas Arrow Hit 2026 arrives as a clearly offensive racket, designed for players who feel comfortable dominating the net and closing points quickly. We have noticed it as a modern, aggressive model with a very clear approach: power with reasonable control for those with an active hand and arm. What we liked most from the start is the much more pleasant feel with the ball compared to the Metalbón Carbon, which feels much drier. If you play from above, press on the volley, and look to take charge of the point, this version fits very well.

First Impressions with the Adidas Arrow Hit 2026

From the first hits, a serious construction is noticeable, with a carbon fiber frame and ASC carbon faces that convey solidity upon impact. The feel is at that middle point leaning towards firm, which we like in an offensive racket, as it allows for a good feel of the ball without the hit becoming soft or imprecise. It is not a soft racket, but neither is it a brick, and that is part of its charm. Compared to the Metalbón Carbon, the contact feels friendlier and less dry.

The high balance marks its personality from the very first minute. It is clear that it is designed to accelerate, to add weight to the ball, and to play above the waist with determination, although at the same time it has left us with a very good feeling of stability in blocks and aggressive volleys. This combination of offensive balance and firmness of the whole makes the racket head feel present, but without becoming unstable. When we ask for rhythm, the Adidas responds better than when we play at half speed.

We were also convinced by the overall finish in hand. The rough Spin Blade Decal is truly effective and does not come off as just an aesthetic detail, while the EXTRA POWER GRIP grip offers good adherence and a dry feel that provides security in quick grip changes. The Arrow Hit range, which replaces the Sadi Power, comes with a proposal very focused on the advanced player who wants power, spin, and a firm but pleasant response. In that sense, the presentation is very well resolved.

Adidas Arrow Hit 2026 from the Back of the Court

From the back, we are not dealing with a racket that does everything on its own. The medium feel and EVA Soft Performance rubber help quite a bit with lobs and lifted shots, but you need to accompany the gesture well and get your body into the shot. In defense, especially when the ball comes quickly to the body or you have to rush out from the wall, it demands good technique and does not give as much as other more docile models. If the arm arrives late, it is immediately noticeable.

However, when we get our legs in well and complete the swing, the ball exit is very rewarding and allows for deep counterattacks. That is where the EVA Soft Performance core and that high balance start to really add up. The wall drops have seemed to us one of its strongest points, as it allows you to press the ball easily and direct it to the opponent’s feet or the lines with considerable intent. It is not a passive defense racket; it is a racket to turn a correct defense into a shot that puts pressure back on. Additionally, the Spin Blade Decal surface helps provide a bit more grip on lifted shots and those wall exits where we seek to regain initiative with margin and direction.

Adidas Arrow Hit 2026 at the Net

This is where we found the most sense in this Adidas. The high balance provides a very good stability in blocks and aggressive volleys, making the racket feel at home when we play close to the net. It is not the most maneuverable for a loose wrist or short gestures, so in very quick exchanges, it needs to be moved decisively. But if we enter strongly to the ball, it responds with a lot of authority.

In the volley, it is noticeable that the whole pushes, and much of that comes from the MUSCLE POWER SYSTEM, which reinforces the frame and gives the impact an extra rigidity that is useful when we press. Aggressive volleys come out tense and with weight, especially if we seek depth rather than pure short touch. The EXTRA POWER GRIP also helps quite a bit in this area, as it provides a firm and secure grip in the hand when quick reactions or grip changes are needed. We did not find it to be a nervous racket in hand, but rather very reliable when we attack with conviction. In the more technical net shots, the Spin Blade Decal texture is truly noticeable: the viboras come out with good spin, the trays can be loaded quite a bit, and it also allows for better cutting of the volley to seek more uncomfortable angles.

Adidas Arrow Hit 2026 in the Smash

When it comes to smashing, the Arrow Hit 2026 has serious arguments for the offensive player. The MUSCLE POWER SYSTEM reinforces the frame and gives that feeling of extra rigidity upon impact, something that is clearly felt when we smash flat or volley hard: the racket pushes. The medium feel leaning towards firm helps to impart weight to the ball, and the high balance generates that leverage that accelerates the racket head easily. In lifted smashes, the rough surface allows for better grip on the spin and trajectory, although to hit the ball out wide, it is not enough to just position the racket: good technique and an active arm are needed.

Sweet Spot of the Adidas Arrow Hit 2026

The sweet spot is high, inviting strikes above waist level, which is very noticeable in deep trays, tense viboras, and smashes. It makes sense in a diamond-shaped racket with a high balance, but it is important to enter well into the shot because it does not forgive too much when the impact is off-center or the arm arrives late.

Manageability and Comfort of the Adidas Arrow Hit 2026

The overall feeling is clear: it is not the most manageable racket on the market. In quick exchanges or very rushed defenses, it can be a bit harder to move, especially if we play with short gestures or a less active wrist. In return, when we accelerate the arm and give it a decisive movement, it responds much better and conveys a feeling of a solid and stable racket. It is a manageability more geared towards attacking than improvising.

In terms of comfort, it remains at a fairly logical midpoint for its profile. The EVA Soft Performance core means that it does not punish the arm as much as a very hard racket, although we are not dealing with a soft racket or one focused purely on comfort. The EXTRA POWER GRIP has pleased us because it provides a dry and adherent feel, very firm in the hand, which helps a lot to play with confidence. If you are looking for a comfortable feel but with offensive character, there is an interesting balance here.

Quality/Price of the Adidas Arrow Hit 2026

Its official retail price is €400, although at the time of writing this review, we found it for €304 in specialized stores. In terms of price, it falls into the high range of the market and, by approach, we place it in the advanced range, with premium materials and technologies consistent with that level; even so, as is often the case in padel, these models tend to decrease over the months and when the next version approaches, even better opportunities tend to appear, which also makes previous seasons particularly smart purchases.

Who is the Adidas Arrow Hit 2026 for?

We recommend it for advanced players who feel comfortable dominating the net and closing points quickly. It also fits very well for offensive profiles looking for power, spin, and control within the same racket, as long as they have good technique and an active arm to take advantage of the high balance. If you are one of those who hits the ball hard, presses on the volley, and wants a racket that responds when the pace picks up, this Adidas makes a lot of sense. On the other hand, for beginners, players with a loose wrist, or those who prefer soft rackets with a low balance, we do not think it is the right option.

Pros and Cons of the Adidas Arrow Hit 2026

  • Great power and energy transfer thanks to the MUSCLE POWER SYSTEM.
  • Good lively ball exit with EVA Soft Performance core.
  • EXTRA POWER GRIP that provides security and firmness.
  • Very good stability in blocks and aggressive volleys.
  • High sweet spot for shots above the waist.
  • Allows for easy and precise wall drops.
  • Not the most maneuverable racket, can be challenging in quick exchanges or rushed defenses.
  • Requires good technique and an active arm, does not forgive off-center impacts if the gesture is not well accompanied.
  • Not the best option for loose wrist players or those who prefer soft rackets or low balance.

The Adidas Arrow Hit 2026 has left us with the impression of a racket very well focused on the offensive player who wants to dominate at the net with a more pleasant feel than other drier options. It has power, a lively ball exit when activated well, and a very rewarding performance in the game from above. It is not an easy racket nor forgiving of mistakes, but in the hands of an advanced player who plays forward, it has a lot to say.
